Yeah... because his kickers have been wonderful! Just remember that the Lincoln kid will get about 1-10,000 kicks in between now and next season. Good god, I could probably end up kicking with that amount of practice. Remember, it's just February.

I don't remember any of UT recent kickers struggling a lot as freshmen. Most of them were decent as freshmen. If you going to teach someone to kick then whats the point of recruiting them and giving them a scholarship? You can do that with anyone.

heard dude was shanking them in the spring last year from fourty yards. Word is he is just terrible. Colquitt is going to be the place kicker next year, maybe we can find a walk-on somewhere.

There are 3 guys comming to UT next year as invited walk-ons. Taka Koyota or something from Maryville is actually pretty good, should compete. I cannot remember the other 2 fellows.

One of the kickers they invited got a full ride at Georgia Southern.

It's my understanding that kickers are pretty much the least coached players on the team. They do their own thing more so than others.

bingo. thats why having a freshmen kicker not making the grade is a problem.

come on guys i'll make sure his balls stay warm and accurate. what more could a gal like me do to help him???? welcome to tennessee mr. lincoln..let the guys keep the stats and the girls hold the balls!!!!!

Reason # twenty million why I should have forced myself to work out 6 days a week when I was 10 so I could have played football.
