come on guys i'll make sure his balls stay warm and accurate. what more could a gal like me do to help him???? welcome to tennessee mr. lincoln..let the guys keep the stats and the girls hold the balls!!!!!
Lincoln is certainly a hoss....I think I read that he kicked a 70 yard FG in front of Meyer and still didn't get a serious look. Also, he has the size and experience to be a GREAT safety valve in case an ellusive return man gets by our always air tight coverage.
Doesn't Meyer pride himself on coaching the special teams.
The Vols only recruited one kicker and did not land him. Soooooo who will be doing the kicking next year?
This got me curious and I looked at who we had and saw this kid Daniel Lincoln from Florida who apparently started at LB and Safety as well as lettered in weightlifting, sounds like an interesting kicker

Yeah... because his kickers have been wonderful! Just remember that the Lincoln kid will get about 1-10,000 kicks in between now and next season. Good god, I could probably end up kicking with that amount of practice. Remember, it's just February.the fact Meyer didn't offer isn't giving me a warm and fuzzy.
Lincoln is looking like a bust from last year's thin class.
