Where the hell has that guy been. He is scary and if I were another team I would be worried about him. Sorry I forgot his name (bad fan:)).Larkin or OWD told me he is a local talent of K ville. Why have we not seen him play more?

Rogan is the Man! As I said before, Fulmer kept him on a tight leash and now he is like a Pit Bull that just broke off his chain barkin' "here Kitty Kitty"!!!

He also does a great job on kick cover teams. He made the touchdown saving tackle on the last Vandy return.
It is good to see a return man actually try to run north- south and bust his butt up the field.

Nick Reviez has also made a solid impact as a walk-on. He seems to be involved in many tackles on coverage.

Would not suprise me at all to see him get significant playing time at MLB

Think his size will hold him back? Seems like 5'10" is generous. I was talking to his dad after the SC game and was actually surprised when Nick walked up. Then again, none of them were very tall.

It makes me wonder if we have more hidden talent?

Fine..he wasn't exactly hidden. He really shined in the scrimmage game(s)...including a kick return for a touchdown. But, Fulmer wanted to start with experience back there - and I don't necessarily blame him for that. It is a position where you need at least some experience back there. I also wonder if Fulmer thought about redshirting him (did he play in the JV game and would that have precluded a redshirt, guys?).

It was obvious that we were going to be playing D. Moore at WR, and he was the 1st freshman back there to take kicks. Then, Creer started getting looks back there and carries at TB. However, Rogan stood out to me in the preseason...and I wonder if the reason Rogan didn't get his turn until after these 2 was because of the possibility of a redshirt.

An interesting stat from The Tennesean...

The Vols lead the SEC in kickoff return yardage with 24.7 yards per kickoff return, which ranks No. 8 nationally.

Kentucky, however, leads the SEC in kickoff return coverage and allows a total of only 43.2 kickoff return yards per game.

I just think it's great that UT has national media attention on the special teams area and it's finally positive.

I've seen a lot of these young guys step up and outperform the veterans. On special teams and defense I think I can finally say I look forward to seeing them play and make game changing performances next year. And even this year I think we've made light year advances in these areas that could actually spell out for better outcomes against UK, LSU, and our bowl game.

What I like the most about Rogan is that he gets up the field. This east/west crap just churns my guts. He has definitely stepped up for the Big Orange. I actually get a little excited about ko/punt returns now.

Pardon my ignorance, but is Nick any relation to Fuad or Carlos? I wondered about that on Sat.

Coker getting kicked off was almost a mixed blessing.
I wonder how many other hidden gems UT has on the bench that haven't had a chance to shine?
