I know this is super old, but Ell Ash is currently in the United States Navy. I believe he is a Gunners Mate second class petty officer. I had the extreme displeasure of having to spar with him daily in Visit Board Search and Seizure school.

Anybody remember L. Coker? I grieved intensely when Fulmer had to kick him off the team during his freshman year. As an RB, I am yet to see another with as much blazing speed. He could hit the edge, turn up field and be gone in the blink of an eye. I thought he had more talent than even O. Smith. What a shame. The kid forfeited many millions of dollars.

I remember that 85 yard TD he had against Vandy in Nashville. He had another 80+ TD run that year also. Maybe against Marshall?

If we would of had Coker in 2007 to go along with Foster it would of been enough to get us a win against LSU in the SECCG. IMO

Also, Fulmer shouldn't of redshirt him in 05 after every running back we had went down. That summer before 2005 seeing Demetrice Morley and Coker committed had me hyped as hell

I agree. My favorite "part" about the 1998 team was our defense. Al Wilson is a friend of mine, so I never went around saying he was my favorite player. Even though he was the most important player on our defense. Some of my favorite players of all-time come from the 1998 defense. We all know them, but most of them aren't famous. Fred White and Raynoch Thompson rank in my top 10 players I admire the most. I still have a Raynoch jersey, which I wear on every Saturday in the fall. But even Mikki Allen and Derrick Edmonds had great roles in that team. Gerald Griffin, bless his heart, even won me over that year. We all praise the great players on that team, but I remember some of the players that don't get too much credit for anything.

Raynoch Thompson was a beast at OLB......:salute:
