He did the same thing blocking for Worley too.

No, just Coleman Thomas. The first person getting into the pocket was always standing in front of Coleman Thomas.

Last year everyone side stepped Coleman to deck Worley... now there is a second option... go through him.

I doubt there are many OL in the country that will be able to deal with KMac one on one. I honestly believe he has that much talent. He has the potential to be one of those one in a million type of players. A true game changer. OL is an extremely difficult position. Look at our game vs Iowa. Barnett schooled the #1 OL taken in the NFL draft. It happens. Our OL is not going to face guys like KMac on a weekly basis. Do not take this as a bad omen for the OL.

The good thing is that we practice against him everyday.

If that happens just once during any season to Coleman Thomas I'll buy all of you a box of Cheez-its. Any variety(even the combo boxes)

If K. Mac does it to more than 3 players on the opposing teams over a 2 year stretch you all have to chip in your monnies and buy me cheez-its for 2 week supply.(roughly 11 boxes for me and my peeps)

Deal?

You people do realize by 2016 it's quite possible K Mac takes down 2 quarterbacks only using his gravitational pull.

Hope he is a factor in beating Florida this year. With all this talk of winning the sec east and all this stuff...let's start with just beating Florida for once in our dam lives.

Sick and tired of losing to them and I have no use for a coach that fails to do that. Gotta do it this year. I really like Butch right now..but you gotta beat Florida man. No bs. No excuses.

Sorry, this is just one thing i'm weird about. I cut Fulmer slack cuz at least he beat em a few times including Spurriers final game at the Swamp...but gotta get it done this year or everything else is just hollow.

Go Vols.

I still think he has a long ways to go before he starts . Signed Danny O'Brien

I think he is competing more with Owen Williams than O'Brien. DO and Shy look to be competing for the 3 tech, and KMac and Williams are competing for Nose. Our D seems fairly diverse with what we can do we the fronts. So they are probably learning both positions, and are pretty interchangeable. Just the way I see it...

There will be no team we play this year 1 on 1 block KMac, that good for the rest of the line...add shy in the mix...DL is going to be that good if they play their gap.

1 note on Thomas was KMac X with Phillips and it probably caught Colman off guard in this drill, I'm sure he will not be flat out pancake in a game.

You guys need to look MORE CLOSELY. KMac steps on Coleman Thomas' left foot as he comes into him. Notice Thomas' left leg straighten out as KMac bowls him over.

Granted CT goes down but that becomes a lot easier when you can't move your base as an Olineman. He's gotta keep his feet under him better maybe.

Fire away...

Between DeLaSalle and his father and father's friends coaching KMac over the years, you don't think they've ever mentioned to him step on an OLs dragging foot for leverage? I suspect Thomas will have happy feet forever more when facing KMac.

It was definitely a factor. Not sure he was expecting that stunt either...

The rest of the SEC promises not to do this to the Vol's Oline, let's hope they keep their promise
