Shoop should be slobbering all over himself about this qb and how to ruin his day. Our key is if Dobbs can have a better day than yesterday. It is really disappointing that his eye to hand coordination is not better when he has a guy wide open and he can't float a ball to an area like he had yesterday. O-line needs Chance Hall and the next man up mentality is critical from here on out with the defensive injuries piling up!

Oh no I agree completely about the run game. That's why I'm saying we have to dismantle the passing game, allowing us to more fully stop the run. Apparently they have several good options at running back, but on paper our DL should stuff that OL (same could be said the other way though). If we give appleby enough time to make a downfield pass I will be very nervous based on what we saw last week.

Fla will try to stack the line and we have to make them pay if we want to have success with the run game as well.

Agree but I think it has to start with the O line first and foremost.

Gators are leading the nation in sacks and this o line can't hang the skill position players out to dry anymore.

They are going to throw in a lot of run blitz to throw off our "finesse" offense. Blitz from the corners to stop the end arounds. After 3 games, there is no threat from the vertical game, so Florida can squeeze up on D.

Bingo. The OL is the key to all offensive production.

We will need to pass the ball effectively to win this game--use the TE (a lot), and be creative with play-calling: You can throw the ball down the field with Kamara, for example--you don't only have to throw him swing passes. Dobbs will have to make plays as well, of course--but he made a lot of plays last year. If we are overly conservative we stand a good chance of losing. And it goes without saying that our defense will have to show up, big-time.

I think the crowd will be a major factor in determining the winner of this game.. So long as we disrupt the Florida offense, our "vanilla" play calling will help us squeak out a win!

the game will be won in the trenches by the team that wants it the most and makes the fewest mistakes---the kicking game will be critical.

I just hope we finally see them bring back out the offset I look some. We need to let our OL just attack and get Hurd running down hill against their D of we're gonna run well enough to set up the pass.

Vols need to have no turnovers and Florida have 3 or 4, for the Vols to win, UT won't score many points against this Florida D, that's a given.

Pray, and then Pray some more for an end to the domination, pleas make it stop, please?
