To me the most crucial game play by position is JaJuan Smith. I know Lofton, and T. Smith are dominators, but it seems that when J Smith plays well the Big Orange handily wins games. He is what keeps all the wheels turning. He adds 3's, assists, and he is possibly the best defender on the team. J SMITH PLAYS WELL = TENNESSEE VICTORY TOMORROW NIGHT!:crossfingers:

I would say "key players"...it's all gonna come down to our bench players...we have to get Tiger High running on fumes midway thru the second half.

Is tyler smith going to be guarding douglas roberts?

cuz if so, that is key in my opinion. Tsmith needs to have 20 and 10

I don't know if there is a single "key player," I think all of our guys are going to have to play well to win this one. That being said, I agree that when JuJuan plays well, the VOLS play well. If he and Lofton are lighting it up from the outside, we will win, because when they're on, not only do we get the 3s in bunches, it gives Tyler and Ramar room to drive inside.

I think Ramar Smith is going to have to take care of the ball, drive to the basket and make the defenders draw in to him so he can kick it out to an open Lofton.
If Ramar can do those two things, we win going away.

I guess you've never noticed but the Tigers are as deep and probably more talented than the Vols when it comes to the best 9 players on each team. To have them running on fumes would be some accomplishment.

I still think we are built better for a fast tempo late in the game.

Ramar is key. Matchups are fairly even but we can not have Howell play too many minutes. He will get schooled.

We've made a few talented team run on fumes towards the end of a game since Bruce arrived, but I tend to think fatigue won't be as big an issue for Memphis.

While I appreciate your passion, have you seen both of these teams play this year? The Vols and Tigers are virtual mirror images of each other and depth is not the problem on either team. If either coach thinks they can outrun the other team then they have been hitting the bong too much. Of course I don't think that's the case and I truly hope Coach Pearl isn't too locked into his personal stance that I'm gonna beat you my way. While I know he doesn't like the zone defense, Memphis struggles mightily against virtually any zone defense and I hope CBP takes advantage of that idea.
