He is a very good player. I think he is definitely the best cover corner they have on the team. I got a finger nail caught in a jersey once and it was really painful.

I've driven in Jersey and have seent the "Jersey Finger" myself...

Well done... you earned a 'like' for that. I, too, have experienced jersey finger, as well as the related NYC finger.

Feel badly for the kid. It's an honor to be trounced by UT in a bowl game.

not a factor. we can't throw the ball 20 yards past the line of scrimmage anyway.

Yep. If we depended upon a vertical passing attack, I'd think we'd have an advantage. As it stands, they can probably do just fine with their backup corner covering the bubble screens.

Sorry the young man has to endure this. The Vols have certainly had its share of injuries and certainly hope that we don't endure new injuries in preparation for the bowl. We have all heard the "next man up" comment. Wishing Nick VanHoose success in the NFL.

Remember how bad we exposed UF when they had a key corner out this year?

THROW IT DEEP!!!! If we take a couple of early shots down the field, it'll make it even easier when Dobbs, Hurd, and Kamara run the ball.

Glad it's not a lasting injury. With that said, thank goodness. UT might actually gain a few yards and at least get in field goal range.

IMO it's 1) Walker 2) Lowry and 3) Van Hoose. Definitely (and by far) our best pass coverage guy. His replacement, Watkins, is better against the run.

Watched several replays. Van Hoose impressed me most. Walker is a good player but it isn't like the better teams on your schedule couldn't move the ball on the ground.

I have seen several NU fans brag on Lowry. He has not impressed me. He's strong and can hold the point of attack but he doesn't look great at getting off blocks or making tackles in space. On several plays I noticed him quitting after the play passed by.

Have you ever gotten a Miami Wave?
