For the record I absolutely do not want Steele to be our next HC. His record speaks for itself as far as I'm concerned.

But if Malzahn goes to Arky I really like our chances for him to be our next DC under whoever our HC will be. I also like our chances even if Malzahn stays at Auburn. Solid recruiter and can coach up the D to be tough as all get out.

Steele has a loaded defense coming back next yr. You'll see him next yr; shutting down the Vols offense in Auburn next yr.

Baylor was a horrible job when he was there. He didn't help it none. Maybe he wasn't ready then. Pete Carroll wasn't a great coach early in his career in the NFL either.

I know he used to be notorious for being a nervous wreck on game day. Once passed out on the sidelines and had to have IV fluids.

Seems like after the 70 point bowl fiasco, there were reports the he kind of had a mental breakdown during that game. Maybe players were saying he was calling defensive alignments they'd never heard of or something like that

Since we are throwing Tee and Cutcliff out there why not him . He is a much better option then both of them only VFLs as a head coach I would want more are Kacy Rodgers , and Jim Bob Cooter
