doubt rex would phrase it quite like that but he doesn't play football anymore

glad to see he made a step up

Did he ever get a shot at playing anywhere after college. He was always one of my favorites. It's ashamed that multiple injuries changed the path for his career.

I know he was drafted by the 'Skins and I think he was cut during training camp.

After that I'm pretty sure he had a stint here at UT as the S&C dept.

Glad to see he's progressing.

One of my favorite all time Vols, and one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met. I wish him the best.

Correct... drafted 7th round and was cut in the last round in training camp

Glad to see him in the NFL, wish he was still with the skins

Good for Simon.

Now all the people who thought it was the end of the world when Kiffin let him go can put up the tissues.

Thanks for the read... Good to know what happened.

He can play for my Titans any day...

Bullock has a little more gas left in the tank, and Thornton is a good LB. Gaither would be great as an MLB with the Titans, but it looks like their sold on Tulloch.

What i love about Simon is he came 3,000 miles away to play football, & he is a vol at heart all the way. He never gave up when many of us would at certain points of his career. Billy Ratliff was a big hearted player also. They both just loved to play football.
