I love Terry Fair and Im happy he's back here. But if it's true that Ansley is possible please bring him on as well. He's one of the best recruiters in the nation. Just have them split duties.

I know starting this year you can have more assistants on staff, would love that combo.

High school coaches whom I respect think Pruitt is a reach at best. Hope they're wrong. prospt from colquitt county ga , who is about to win another championship, might be on the staff. Praying this hire isn't a debacle.

Pru was a highly successful DC in three P5 programs. That is half of the team, and you have to know a lot about offense to coach good defense. So I think we have a good shot with him as HC. Nick Saban did not much mess with the man, and he messes with just about everybody on his staff. So my guess is Pruitt can hold his own in the SEC.

Your prayers will be answered. Not too sure I would listen to what high school coaches think. There's a reason they are still coaching in high school

Any news on a strength and conditioning coach? Maybe the most important hire Pruitt will make based on what he is inheriting, a bunch of out of shape , soft players.

I would agree. 6-6 with a bowl is considered a MAJOR success!! Even with this hell fire staff being assembled it’s up to the players to WANT it!! First year is always rough but then again you never know....we could be surprised with 8-4 but that’s a stretch....I’m pumped right now as the next guy!! These are exciting times at Tennessee!!!! GBO baby!!!!

Does anyone recall why Rocker was let go from Georgia last February? Was it just that Kirby wanted to keep him there through signing day and then he cut him loose?

Rocker doesn't like to recruit and Kirby demands that his assistants hit the road. I wasn't a fan of firing Rocker because his reputation pulled in D/L talent but Kirby wanted every coach to recruit an area and help with all positions.
