It's a rather small community ya'll. The calls have already been made to CJP. I would guess he already knows who the replacement is.,

We never get in a hurry to replace position coaches. It will probably be March before we make a hire.

Don't see a real problem with waiting a bit. See who leaves and what kind of money you have to spend on replacement. This recruiting class is all but done. No need to rush things. Just load up with recruiters.

He’s not going to be the hire. He makes as much as money as we would pay and one or both of his kids is on staff at Bama. But he’s a great position coach and a really good recruiter. One season working for Doofus in a job he wasn’t qualified for doesn’t change that.
Guess you feel you’re right. Hope that’s enough.

Its worked out for us so far. I didn't mean to make it sound like it was a bad thing, I'm just not patient.

So who does the Pruitt Fulmer team bring in to coach the wealth of talent we have at ILB and manage special teams? A coach first and a recruiter second.

Did I say we should hire him back as DC? The position I said we should give him is the current one that NICK SABAN has him filling. But I guess you blow better.
I agree with you, he would be a pretty damn good hire if we could get him. People act like just because you’re a bad DC you can’t be a good position coach
