Sounds dumb, but Im bored and pissed off.

So since John Ward retired we havent done much in football and our Great Women's b-ball team has been shut out of titles. Hmmmmmmmmmm.................

Kesling was play-by-play of the Women's Basketball team during their title runs, so no curse.

OK then . . . if there's no more discussion...

But there is more discussion. Kessling called games for Jefferson Pilot so long, he has not learned how to be "partial" to the University which pays his large salary. He seems just as excited when the opposing team scores as he does when Tennessee scores or makes a big play. His level of excitement will not tell you how our team is doing. Never any doubt with John Ward.

The only doubt with John Ward was whether he was 5 seconds or 10 seconds behind the action.

Titan's Mike Keith is the best in the biz.

If Ward had retired before Titan's job came up, Mike would be calling Vol games now.

I for one think that UT can do better than Kessling he has no personality whatsoever.

If you've ever spent time with Kesling off the air, you wouldn't say that. The man is quite hilarious, and always brightens the day of those around him.

Mike Keith is the best announcer in radio football today PERIOD.
hey he can do both,i mean if Gene whatever his last name is can do pxp for FSU and Tampa Bay,i don't see why Mike can do the same for the Titans and Vols.

The absolute worst PBP guy I have ever heard is the Georgia announcer. Every sentence includes multiple Wes and Ours. I'm not kidding. He cannot get through one sentence without a first-person pronoun. It is a killer. I forced myself to listen to the last few minutes of their bowl game after UT's bball game on Saturday. I was rooting for UGA, and it was still a killer.

Don't know about any win/loss curse, but listening to Kesling makes my ears feel as if they have been cursed.

He is so much better at B-ball than football. He seems to get lost in the speed of football somtimes and Tim Priest repeatedly has to save him.
