I like Bob. He is no John Ward, and lets face it, there never will be anyone that lives up to the standard he set.

I like Keesling and Priest, they make a good team.

Randy Smith would be a good one . He has called some of the pay-per-view games before.

Sorry but Randy Smith is awful! Have you heard him call a basketball game on TV. He's constantly getting players' names wrong and etc. I'd rather keep Kesling if Smith was being considered. The least these guys can do is study the players and their facts so they can at least get that right.

I am not sure, but Bob may own the company that has broadcast rights.

All the games are on TV these days. Not sure there is enough interest for the University to seriously invest in a radio broadcast. If I were in charge I'd just make it a student job - maybe an extension of the Beacon (does that still exist?).

The Vol Network has seriously shrunk the last decade. I remember when they had stations that carried the games in Atlanta and other places in Georgia. Maybe Tennessee should join the IMG Network like Auburn,Georgia Tech and other Schools and they would get a lot more money to afford a better play by play announcer.

How about us getting Ron Franklin calling the UT games on radio? Since Bob is calling games, I haven't listen to radio called games for the last 15 years. Kesling is pretty bad.

What gets me with Bob, besides his ineptitude to pronounce names correctly or correctly call the yardages, is the fact that he seems to get more emotional/ excited when our opponent has success than when we have a big play. Does anyone else notice this sometimes?
