Kentucky

Their program is in better shape. For ky, it’s more stable than our program is. We expect to compete for east divisions. Ky expects to maybe go to bowl games. Now we are hoping we go to bowl games. Ky kinda knows they will go bowl games. I’d say their program is better. They are meeting/ exceeding expectations. Would our program be meeting expectations?

Good try though pal.

None of what you said here proves UK is in better shape. It’s a feeble attempt at it actually. Like I said, we beat UKs best team with freaking cornbread as a head coach. Botch made Stoops look like a HS coach. We are a much better program.

Historically, yes we are better. Currently, no. Our program has a higher ceiling. But we are below them. Our programs are 2-2 in last four. I’d say that makes us even. If we are even with Ky then they are in a better state. Therefore, their program is healthier than ours.

I think we need to realize where our program is. We are behind Kentucky. Their coach has been there almost as long as Saban has been at Bama. He has built the culture. Kentucky should beat Tennessee this year. We as fans need to sit back and enjoy the process of watching our team improve in this rebuild. It will be fun to watch even though we are going to lose more than we like. I had fun watching this team play Thursday (except for the 2nd quarter which was like watching paint dry.)
Nope, I don’t think Ky will beat us this year. I’ll we’ll squeak by. I think folks are putting too much stock in the fact they beat us last year 34-7. Jarrett gave them 2 td’s as a gift. Final score should have been 20-7. I believe ULM was winless last year.

Says your opinion, which doesn't mean anymore than anyone else's. Tennessee gonna whip the catbone kitty cats!!!! GBO!!!!!!!

Wildcats will not beat UF, LSU or UGA. They will lose at least one more road game, likely to USCe. So they will be 4-4 when we come to Lexington. We will have a better record; we be favored to win and we will leave Lexington with a W. jmo, fwiw

Ehh, I don't know about that LSU game after this weekend. They looked very suspect against a good UCLA ground attack, and the storms are brewing amongst their fans to make a move from Ed O. LSU may very well win, but Johnson didn't look good.

I agree on UF and UGA, though.

I'd like some of that if possible..

It's hard to say, because what happened happened, but JG spotting Kentucky 17 points last year made that game seem so much more lopsided than it should have been. The defense laid down out of frustration, and the offense went into a shell.

That said, the Levis kid looked good on Saturday, and Stoops has built some consistency and confidence in Lexington. I would pick them to beat us where we sit today, but so much can happen before that game.

our own qb just missed on a couple of deep throws. he's fine, we're fine. and we have legit backups. ky, not so much!

I don't have the same confidence that you do in that. No D-1 QBs should miss those deep throws he missed with zero pressure.

I believe this Saturday he will continue to play that way. We'll find ourselves down to a pumped up Pitt team threatening to go up 13-0 in the 2nd Qtr after another Milton turnover.

We can run some stuff with Hooker that fits our offense. But what we really need is that passing threat.

I would LOVE to be wrong about Milton. Lord knows i was hyping him up before fall camp.

I am a Tenn fan, but have been impressed with Stoops for several years. He isn’t getting top 10 recruits but he has them ready to play. All they have been lacking for the past few years is a top QB. The running game, both lines, and pretty good defense has been there.

If, and I’m hoping not, if Bailey transfers, Ky would be a good place to look. Actually Hooker too.

:D:D:D:D:D:D...D-1 QBs miss all the time. even pros. wtf are you talking about?

damn mrs warwick, predict with much hate for your own team? sheesh! wtf

How can Kentucky find a QB with vision amd wheels and Tennessee can’t. Levis is a lot faster looking than any of our guys except maybe maurer
In fairness they’ve been looking for a qb longer than we have...and that says something...

Hard to be optimistic after the last 15 years. Don't have any optimism left. It's spent. Is Heupel the guy? No one knows. Not getting my hopes up.

And Ky has won 3 times over this 15 years of Volunteer futility

Silly take. In UT’s worst decade in history which is slightly below .500 UK has had a worse record against a more powderpuff schedule and is only 3-7 against UT. Their program is not better.

Ok man, the fact we are arguing this. And it’s a legit debate, means we both lost. Let’s say our program is not good and stop this.

Sad times now that Kentucky has moved ahead of us in football.

I wouldnty say that Kentucky has surpassed us as much as I'd say the program has sunk below Kentucky's level.

UT has a higher ceiling than Kentucky, even with our decades' long woes, but that ceiling is lowering with each failed coaching hire and continued administrative blundering.
