Kentucky vs Florida

Just dont see it being that close honestly, Florida lost two heartbreakers in a row and they had an off week to prepare for the cats...lets not forget that the gators had LSU beat in Baton Rouge before letting that one slip away...I know FL's defense is suspect for the over the middle passes, but I just dont see KY being able to sustain the same kind of effor two weeks in a row....I hope they can but I think this one will be over by mid 3rd quarter...

I felt the same way about LSU. I just don't see it happening. This UK team has unbelievable offensive talent, and they are well coached.

The wild card is the death of the Florida defensive back. I have seen teams rally around such an event, and I have also seen them tank. It sounds callous, but for an off week, I would imagine this has been very emotionally draining.

The way I look at it right now, both teams are going to score their points. Keep this in mind, UK's defense is very physical. They won't stop Fla, but they will make them pay.

I agree with you on UK's defense being very physical. As to the grieving for the loss of their falling comrade I would think this team goes out like a team possessed and dedicates the season to him. Andre Woodson is a gifted quarterback and if you give him time he will pick you apart all day long, but if you pressure he makes bad decisions.

Although he broke record for attempts without and interception in the last couple of games he has thrown three I believe, with that said Florida's defensive front will be on him all day long. I hope I am wrong, but with the talent and skill on the Florida bench, I think this one will be well in hand early.

The wild card to me is Raphael Little. If he is playing this makes the UK offense even more explosive with a bruising running back and not a track star. If he suits up Saturday then UK has every chance to win IMO.

I also believe that the LSU defense thought they could come in and run all over the cats, and when UK punched them square in the lip they didnt know how to respond. There was a couple of penalties in that game that were pretty bogus to, like the illegal formation call on Terrance Toliver.

Although I believe Florida will dominate I am hoping for another miracle in the Commonwealth!

Interestingly enough, the Locke kid (rb at UK) is a freshman, and he has looked every bit as good as little. Heck, if you can turn the corner against LSU, you can do it against the Gators. I understand your point, and would generally have little argument, but I think that LSU's d is exponentially better than Florida's.

I am with you 100% on LSU defense being better than the Gators. But, I also think that LSU ran into a motivated (us against the world) KY football team on Saturday that believed there was no way that they could possibly lose that football game. IMO if UK-LSU played 10 more games LSU would win at least 80% of them but it doesnt happen like that. I am sure USCw would love to get their hands on that pesky Stanford team as well.

Bottom line IMO is this: Can UK play the type of game that will be demanded out of them on Saturday against the Gators. Florida will be ready and as Urban Meyer said "we will be smoking" or will the UK that went into Columbia SC and laid an egg be that one that shows up. The ball is in their court, who will appear I think a motivated UK plays with them the first half keeps it close. But Tebow and his group of misfits put them away in the 3rd quarter.

Just my opinion.

Joker will replace Rich Brooks. Write it down.

Blah, Blah, Blah.....I will believe it when I see it. Rich might just feel obligated to stick around just in case next year is a lean year. This is one of those things UK fans say now. There are going to be a lot of available job opportunities at the end of this year.
