If Kentucky wins it gives us more cushion for the SECe race, but if Florida wins it will give Kentucky the 2nd SEC loss we need them to.

So would it be better for KY or FL to win?

i would like to see Kentucky win it because we have our shot at Kentucky so it doesnt matter what they do because we play them, but UF already has the tie-breaker against us so we wouldnt have much room for error if UF doesnt lose this game

a higher ranked KY is better for us: it would make our winning streak more meaningful......

If Florida loses again, the Vols could lose to Alabama or Arkansas or Vanderbilt and STILL go to Atlanta.

They would only have to beat both Carolina and Kentucky to clinch a spot in Atlanta.

A Kentucky win helps Tennessee the most.

i was actually coming up with a reply to this and confused myself in doing so. I'll try. If we win out than we'd rather Florida win. If we lose one more game to any team that isn't kentucky then we would like kentucky to win, then we would have to beat kentucky. Also, we'd have to beat usc or have someone else beat them or...my head hurts. Maybe we should just see how things go.:)

I'm pulling for Kentucky, all of the way. I hope they have 1 loss when we play them and they are ranked in the top 5.

UT's best hope is for a big UK win over florida, which will make UT's win over a UK team ranked in the top 10 much better.

How do you know we will beat UK for sure

We have to go on the assumption that to win the SECe, we need to win out. If we assume that, then a win over a 1loss Kentucky looks better on our resume. Could also help when it comes time to pick the bowls, providing we don't beat LSU in the SEC championship.

100 bucks says Kentucky lays down for Florida this weekend. They needed to lose to LSU and beat Florida. But the reverse will happen.

I dont think Ky. lays down to Fl. I think if Ky gets the L in that game its because they are worn out from LSU, just like LSU was Sat after they played Fl. the week before. One more thing you have to think about is Woodson now has a decent shot for the Heisman. I wouldnt think he would just lay down to any team now.

I am a Kentucky fan as long as they aren't playing UT. I just wish my father-in-law could have lived long enough to see his beloved Cats ranked so high.

I miss you, Dad. GO Cats!!

Florida will probably win by 2 TD. It will not be that close though. UK will be spent.

You really think that a team that just beat LSU AT HOME will lose to a lesser team in a revenge game AT HOME by 2 tds? Pass that here will ya

It´s always a good choice to root for the Cats, not that I´m biased or anything. :good!:

Still, it´s a tall order on Saturday. I can´t remember when I´ve been more looking forward to game day--- College GameDay will be in Lexington, CBS SEC game of the week, two top 10 teams colliding.

Pinch me!

true, but I would much rather see us earn a BCS berth as a two-loss team rather than three.
