You thought UT was down in the dumps after Dooley and Kiffin? Try a program that barely had help from the AD and has never won anything since 1950. We're not going to start winning 10 games a year. So 7 is pretty damn good considering most people thought 5 or 6 the last two seasons.

I also think people tend to forget this is Stoops' first HC job. Not an easy job in the SEC.

Probably not. He's definitely overpaid in terms of wins, but the AD has repeatedly said Stoops deserves credit for rebuilding the entire program. I guess we see other schools throw millions at coaches for whatever reason so we're gonna to do it too?
