I would like to buy a couple of tickets for me and my son. He wants to go and I want to check Lexington off the Bucket List, so we will make the trip from North Mississippi I guess. Thought I would ask here before going to other outlets for purchase.
The only way for most of us to send a message to the AD is with our wallets. We don't have connections in the AD or a direct line to Currie's office. Therefore, it is easiest for us to make our voices heard, by not buying tickets, merchandise, concessions, not send donations, and not fill those seats.
I feel bad for the players, but they also deserve a coach who will put them in a position to win and succeed in the NFL or after college. Jones apparently is not capable of all of those things.
By going to games, home or away, your message to the administration is "I am okay with the way things are" regardless of if you feel that way or not.
Me and the Mrs. will be there although from the weather forecast I can foresee that changing to me going solo. We live a few hours away from Lexington and it will be my first game of the season...maybe I'll get lucky and catch a W.
Headed out from West TN Friday morning. Never been so weve had this game planned for awhile. Weather doesnt look great... but were hoping that will change by Saturday.
Got Netflix now. Lot more enjoyable than having my BP start spiking when we fumble the ball to them. But, I will say, Lexington is a fine place to go watch a FB game. Maybe by 2019 I'll start making the trip again. Bring back the Beer Barrel!!
