Again, that's a state by state rule and may differ in Tennessee. Or they may have gotten a waiver. The legal niceties on that are too complex to draw any conclusions about what Tennessee could or could not do based on what other schools do.
But from what I read on here any federal/government official ,ie: coach, who has been fired/terminated, that school has to wait 14 days to announce a new representative of that school. So is this a federal thing or state? Just trying to clear up the confusion that if it is indeed Gruden our coach, God willing, and it's a federal law then how can they do what we can't. Sorry I know touchy subject. Just trying to understand
I have a question on this, joker Phillips was just let go last week. How can they publicly announce a new coach without the 14 day rule if we can't do the same?
I find it funny that I had not heard his name mentioned one time for the job.....yet here they are hiring him.....I wonder if this means we are going to hire someone not being mentioned at all like this guy...
