Kentucky lost again

Wild to see this, its amazing what turnovers can do..
They had the same number of FG attempts, all of the difference in possession for Louisville was in the FT disparity. It should be roughly 5 extra possessions to UofL which doesn't account for the difference in FT attempts.

How did they generate a 16 to 31 FT advantage on 21 to 19 PFs?

Gassing up Kentucky fans to believe they had the most NIL of any program in the country is backfiring predictably. All of a sudden Kentucky doesn't look as good as fans expected and it's: "If we have a 22 million dollar roster, where is all the money being spent?" They aren't dumb. They realize they had to settle for everyone they landed in the portal. They are starting to wonder how much they are paying Jayden Quaintance to sit most of the year.

Those guys on Rupp's Rafters are just about ready to say, "Uncle."

"I’ll say this and be ready to take any heat yall bring. I’m upset about the game yes… but what I’m about to say isn’t because of one game.

If Pope misses on these recruits. Doesn’t upgrade the talent next year then I’m off the bandwagon completely."

Bandwagons are like shuttle buses. You can jump off and on as many times as you want.

I did not have Mark Pope being a whiny baby about hostile environments on my bingo card….maybe the lights are too bright for him at Kentucky lol.

This would tick me off if I was a Kentucky fan. Those guys were tired of hearing excuses even when Cal was reeling in talent Kentucky shouldn't have been able to land due to his track record. They are not going to listen to them from someone else for very long if the results aren't to expectations, and the expectations, by the way, are wildly unrealistic.

I was curious why the Kentucky fans turned so quick on Pope after losing to Louisville, and it occurred to me to check their recruiting class since guys were able to sign yesterday. They have zero commits. I get it's just the Early Signing Period and they are getting predictions for Collins, but it makes sense to me why they are so volatile and most are starting to wonder where all the 22 million is being spent. Even Sam Houston at 77th in the country on 247 signed someone.

Welp. That's it, folks. Shut the book on Kentucky basketball. Fans are waving the white flag. (this is in response to Lowe being reinjured)

"It’s official, The Lord is done with UK basketball. We have been forsaken

We’re looking pretty decent in baseball this year. Volleyball team is stacked go cats."

I don't know how I could live without Rupp's Rafters.

My Volunteer friends... methinks this will round into form! May take some time with the injuries and whatnot... but they will get there. Now, have they looked Final Four good so far? Not at all... but it's a LONG season. At least that's what I have been telling myself since the Louisville game! ha

The only basketball in May is NBA. I think Kentucky will play better as they get used to playing together, but they aren't the only team with that issue at this point in the season and many of those teams are still undefeated.

You know, sure Kentucky has no true point guard with Lowe hurt and they are looking non-competitive against a team they were predicted by many to beat on the road, but I don't think I've ever seen Rupp's Rafters more positive. Those guys are certain Pope is the right guy. They are saying they probably don't even need elite players to win tiles. That's just how good Mark Pope is. It's about his devout Mormon faith. (please don't be bigot) And heck, nobody else who does have a backup point guard also spent 22 million dollars on their roster.

Nah, they ain't saying nun of that right now.

"Burn it all down! Fire everybody!"

I think we should probably self-reflect before we just dismiss this Kentucky roster as garbage. After all, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
