When LSU rebounded Oweh’s miss, he should’ve thrown it to the other end of the floor instead of saving it to his own player under the Kentucky basket. The clock would’ve run out.

Yeah I think this is a good result. Last time Kentucky was coming off an embarassing loss at “rock bottom” against a bad South Carolina team, they beat us in Knoxville. Still going to be a tough game Saturday, but I didn’t want any extra motivation.

For KY fans there in no worse bad dream play than 1992 the infamous Christian Laetner catch and shoot play from a full court pass from baseline to head of circle with a second on the clock that eliminated UK in Regional Final. Every old UK fan could diagram the play on a napkin today and it happened decades ago.

And it was exactly the play Pope drew up last night at LSU with 1.4 or so seconds left in game. Long from baseline Hail Mary throw to Moreno at head of circle who catches and shoots and drains it to steal the 20 point comeback win

Tennessee and LSU are very comparable peers in NIL I would imagine. Do we need to make hard decisions if we want to win a championship in football or basketball. Can we actually be an everything school and win championships?
