At least one way to look at it, is one of the reasons why we played so poorly today is because we were looking ahead at Kentucky instead of focusing on Vandy. With that being said, I think we play much better next week.

I think we need try to throw the quick passes the outs and swings. To try to use the whole field and spread UKs D out. To open up the run.

I'd rather have our "off" game against Vandy than next week, I'm confident we'll come out ready to play.

I am hoping that Bray got his "freshmanitis" out of him today. Better the bad play happen today then next Saturday!!

Cobb scares the crap out of me and he's playing with a freaking bag of chips on his shoulder but WE GOT IT! GO VOLS!

After they barley beat a Sucky a** Vandy team who has won 2 games our guys better be at least concerned.

being nervous about the game next week is not a knee jerk reaction. it is a legitimate concern, however, i do maintain that i am optomistic.

Reveiz, Stocker, Moore, Jones, GWilliams, Lincoln, and a host of other volunteers won't let an unspeakable upset like THAT happen.

Glad this young team had a game like this after playing so good last week. Dooley will use it to get them ready for senior night and to get a bowl bid against Kentucky. I hope Rocky Top is loud next Saturday. A win and this team goes to a bowl game.

The only thing that worries me about Kentucky is that they have had a week off to prepare and that 25 year winning streak has to be the easiest pre-game motivator in the NCAA right now. "You can be the class that finally beats TN."

But I still like our chances.

3 wins in a row and a 14 pt win at that. It could have been better but I think we have seen that it could have been much worse. Mental errors need to be cleaned up. I also wish Dooley didn't put handcuffs on Bray. I hate to see his confidence get shot over a pick or 2. Every qb throws them.

Vols looked very vanilla tonight and I think that is just what they needed going into a game with so much on the line. Its good to get the mistakes out of the way this week, look at the film and let the significance of next weeks game sink in. The Vols will be ready and Bray will be much crisper next week. Need Janzen to fly around like a crazy man on defense.

We can't read to much into this win. We can't play a full game. Vandy beat ole miss too. Our wins are against really weak teams. And if not for vandy having no offense and blowing 10 points in the red zone we would have lost this game. I am hopeful but I don't see us beating Uk. They have been on our heals the last 4 years. They now have jr and sr who feel they can beat us. It will be a shoot out because we can't stop them. I just hope our offense doesn't self destruct. I say 35 28 Uk. They finally get us. God I hope I am wrong. We should have killed this vandy team. It showed me how weak memphis and ole miss is.
