Not surprised at all. Lexington is hosting Breeder's Cup that day. If the game was any earlier than 7pm, I'm sure UK wouldn've been very upset.

I will be going to this game. I already have tickets. Would anybody have an idea of how much the Breeder's Cup will affect game day traffic as I will be travelling into Lexington to see the game?

I would just consider the location of Keeneland when planning your route to the stadium. Beyond that, I doubt there will be much impact. It's not as if the two events are sharing parking areas.

Gonna be catching up on DVR. Not many things come before UT football for me, my kids win by a mile however.

I will be sitting in the front yard handing out candy with the game on and a fire in the fire pit.

I'm gonna put a sign on my door telling the kids to come on inside for their candy because I will be watching Tennessee football. I am sure my husband will be wearing his Jason hockey mask with Power T's on it of course.

Knox Talk 94.3 just said the Kentucky game was going to be on ESPN at 7:30.

SEC Network, not ESPN.

The reason it's an SEC Network game instead of ESPN or ESPN2 is that ESPN had a window on each channel from 7-10:30. Kentucky could not start the game before 7:30 because of security and traffic control authorities that are also working the Breeder's Cup the same day.

I know it won't happen, but would love to see us break out some black pants with the orange checkerboard stripe, and a black helmet with an orange power T. Think it would look slick with the white jersey as a Halloween game alternate.

Do you guys think it'd be better to scalp this game or just bite the bullet and buy tickets now? There's plenty of uppers left but I'm not sure which would be the best option. Face value at $75 seems a little high.

Regarding tix being available: I live in Lexington and I'm hearing there will be at least 70k ppl visiting for breeders cup..many UK alum will be in town and they are doing bus trips from race track to ball game. I promise you there will not be many tix to scalp. I'd buy them while you can.
