With a bye week to heal up and prep, our bowl chances are riding BIG TIME on beating Kentucky in two weeks. We need to fill Neyland and keep it loud.

Finishing the season with a bowl game will be HUGE for the development of this team and the future of the program.

Beating Kentucky means that we only have to beat Vandy OR Missouri to make a bowl...that would take off so much pressure.

I must admit I feel much better about the UK game after seeing our offense tonight. Our D was not their usually selfs but with a bye week time to rest and two weeks to prepare and the game being in Neyland. I like our chances.

I thought the D helped win the game.

We have 2 weeks to prepare. We play well off a bye. I think we should be reasonably favored. At least a TD.

Hard to argue this is now the most important game of the season. Win guarantee a bowl. And I say guarantees because vandy is back to where they belong.

After watching most of the UK/Missouri game, I think UT can beat both, especially at home.

Kentucky is not that good. They will limp into this game with lost confidence after their strong 5-1 start.

Beat them and we are 100% going bowling! 2 weeks. I can't wait!

Honestly I can see them finishing 5-7. lol D needs to show up though! No more shootouts...

USC's offense has made every defense they played look bad.

It I just can you score more points than their offense.

They are a lot lie or last year under Dooley.

Thing is, our offense is getting better.

Our goal should now be to win the rest of them. To he** with just going to a Bowl we've got a good shot at 8 wins. Who would have thought that was possible, not me:eek:hmy:.

I don't want the bowl game to come down to the Mizzou game. Kentucky is our *****. It'll be close for a bit but I think 38-21 Vols pull away in the 4th.

Can't say that I have ever been excited about the Kentucky game.

We need this.

I just want to hibernate for the next two weeks.

Unless Bama loses I have nothing to look forward to until then.

They're all huge. 6 wins to get to a bowl. 7 wins to get to a better bowl. 7-5 (and hopefully 8-5 with a bowl win) will send a VERY strong message to recruits that we are heading in the right direction. The way I see it, this team is not only playing for a bowl game this season. They are playing for the future of this program.
