Vandy will not make the playoffs without a lot of help. They have to be at least # 9 to get in. There are going to be two teams not in the top 10 that make it. And Notre Dame is still there. They have to hope for 5 teams above them to lose and then drop below them.

And they probably need Georgia Tech to lose to Pitt, because if Georgia Tech beats Pitt and then were to beat Georgia - Georgia Tech would jump them and Georgia would NOT fall below Vandy. And if Texas was to win out - they are jumping Vandy.

Said differently - while they are 6 spots in front of us - the need chaos like we would need chaos. The loss to Texas more than likely sealed their fate just like our loss to OU sealed ours.
