Kenny O'Neal info

Wade was pretty fast as well. I'm not sure how well O'Neal will do at WR(hopefully he has gotten a smidgen better than his days at FSU) but there is no doubt that he will make an impact as a KR. Hopefully we put him and Coker back.

Would it be realistic to multiply his 100 yard time by 4/10 to guestimate a 40 yard time?

And Coker may have tweaked his anke a little bit(is that what happened?) but that doesn't mean you don't put your best guys back. Look at Oklahoma, they put a Heisman hopeful back. You can't leave the best guy for the job on the bench for the risk of injury, especially when it comes to something as important as field position and special teams.

I remember Gatlin is claimed as 3.85 of 40. Maybe there is nobody in the world could be faster...

O'Neal listed less than 4.4 sec, so is Vinson. BOth of them gonna be faster than Wade

O'Neal ran a 4.26 as a freshman at FSU. Vinson is around a 4.35.

That wasn't electronically timed(the Gatlin 40) so it likely wasn't too accurate.

I think the thing is, it really won't matter much. We have tons of dynamic athletes that could be great returners. I don't think UT knows how to properly set up a return. Thus, I don't expect Lamarcus to do that much better than some random DB backup.

I think JR.

That is the problem kpt. Did you not notice a difference when Coker was returning and when everyone else was returning? He hit the lane quick and had better vision than the rest. That isn't saying the incoming players won't be good at returning, but you said it earlier. We don't know how they will pan out. I do know that O'Neal can be successful at returning as can Coker.

I only remember Coker having one good return, which is when he got injured. I'm probably forgetting something. Anyway, I still think we shouldn't risk him getting injured. He's a difference-maker. In my opinion, if he had played the majority of the Penn State game, we would have won.

I've been saying for years that UT should coach its returners to take a knee if the ball is kicked into the endzone. We very rarely get back to the 20 in those situations.

It was very fast.

Your right kpt. Let's put the scout team in for all of the special teams because that doesn't affect the outcome of the game, right?
