8:28 PM: There is an attractive group of female students in front of me dressed in their finest clothes. I ask the security guard about them. Apparently they are paid to schmooze with recruits. I hope Lane Kiffin is reading this. Turns out you just have to call it "schmoozing." Crisis averted. Looks like I just saved the Vols recruiting class.

Sorry if already posted, I found it funny.

Kenny Mayne? He's about as humorous as head lice.

Let me guess...your the guy that hates Kiffin and doesn't understand why Phil Fulmer was abruptly let go. I'm going out on a limb and saying you were a firm believer in the "Claw-fense" as well???:ermm:

Kenny Mayne is the only sports anchor that I know that can bring humor to any situation.

he's not that funny...Poor man's Norm Mcdonald... Everybody on ESPN tries to be comedians when they should stick to reporting the sports news

He and Olbermann and Kilborn were the only two SC anchors who could pull off the humor. Both of them pushed too hard. Olbermann "failed upward," if you will. Kenny does the occasional horse race, various ESPN segments and commercials every now and again.

Kilborn-who knows after he did Daily Show and his own talk show...

Olberman and Patrick had great chemistry when they were on SC. Kilborn and Mayne were pretty funny. That was back when SC was worth watching.

Mayne is great, doesn't take himself as seriously as Patrick or Olberman. His persona just doesn't exude arrogance.

Still, half of the time, I wonder if there is something...you know...wrong with that man.

I'm glad this turned into a thread about who thinks who is funny.
Just because you read it, you don't have to comment on it.

What the hell are you talking about? Get off your high horse, this is a message board, so if you don't want to read it then don't. That will fix the problem.

He said nothing of substance so where was this thread headed anyway?

Well, I was thinking the same thing. I mean, somebody found something funny. What's the point in saying "no, it's not funny." Oh well. Merry Christmas everybody.
