I like the looks of this kid. Long and bouncy post men are the type that can thrive in Bruce's system.

Are these two the only two coming in or are there others. Hall and McDonald look eerily similar to Williams and Singleton, hopefully with a better outcome.

Tyler Smith's success in Pearl's system is probably influencing guys like Hall.

We can still do a "Leslie" and "Kenny" chant, I have a feeling Hall may be close to committing.

i think hall is closer to committing that mcdonald. hall went to duke last week but he still considers us his leader. that's a good sign.

If we sign two guards this Spring, i.e., Hopson/Edmondson, Hopson/Jones, etc., and Hall commits, we'll need someone to leave early to have a scholly for McDonald, should he at some point commit to UT. It's probably a safe bet, though, that Tyler Smith won't be around for his senior year.

We have offered a point guard from Michigan named Daniel West. He plays for the number one team in Michigan and averages 15 pts, 9 assts, and 8 steals. That is quite a stat line. He is getting interest from UK, Memphis, and some others but has Tennessee and St. Johns at the top. I think he is more likely to be a Vol than Verdell Jones or Edmonson.

I say West and Hopson for '08, Hall and McDonald for '09. That would be very nice :)

Article from Rivals. Us and St.Johns have offered. Looks from Kentucky, Memphis, Minnesota. He is a late bloomer and flew under the radar. From all accounts a true point guard, something we haven't had since CJ.

Not sure on McCoy. I do know we have been to his school to see him. Don't think an offer has been extended.

Welcome. Will be at the game Sunday and will try and take a pic or two of our recruits. Hope they have an awesome time! TBA will be rocking and no Patterson = murder of UK. Go Vols!
