Dykes said he will stay for 3.5 years. I promise.

I think he pulled that out of his ass, but that's what he said. Debate over.

i remember the 3 year comment i just took it as him saying 3 years meaning his junior year. we all knew he would be here sophomore year so thats why everyone kind of wondered why the extra year. i do remember this comment but thought he said 3 years, if he said 3.5 then that means finish out his career at ut.

do you recall him saying why he thought this or you think he really was completely pulling it out of his a$$?

He was definitely implying Stokes would use ALL of NCAA eligibility in his follow-up comments. He didn't say where he got this information, so I'm assuming that was his prediction. If he did have a viable source, he didn't mention it, but I would like to think that he didn't really pull it put of his ass. Again, I'm 99.9% sure he said "3.5 years;" I don't see how 3.0 makes any sense.

a lot of what jimmy says doesnt make sense and i was thinking he said 3 which i figured in general was just his quick way of saying junior year. i could have missed it though so im not going to say otherwise i trust what your saying, i was probably screaming at the tv when he said it. well, lets hope dykes knows something that we dont know because getting stokes for all 4 years would be amazing for our program.

Where did I hear this before?

OH YEAH! He plays for the Bucks after one year :p

That's why I say let's wait till next season and I think we will know much more. I'm guessing he will at some point talk about his intentions, and at what point he feels comfortable leaving.
