Let me give you a little more info on Mr Chesney's SEC experiences. At the concert in Columbia SC, he accepted from Steve Spurrier, a South Carolina jersey with the number 7 on it. He proceeded to lead "happy BDay" to Steve, to which I was cursing loudly and swinging my orange VOLS cap the whole time. We sat on the front row, and I gave him a dirty look and pointed to my hat, to which he just shrugged his shoulders. Now this at the FL game, all I can say is I hope someone else is willing to pay that much for tickets, cause I bought my last two, and I hope that he and Tebow will be very happy together

You guys realize that he is simply pimping himself so he can sell albums, right? He is not the only musician to do so.

And yes, he does suck.

celebrities have to appeal to their fanbase and be all things to all people; if you're doing a concert at UTK, you're gonna scream "Go Vols!"...if you're near Gainesville, you're gonna do the Gator chomp...on the surface, it looks like betrayal when really, it's just pleasing your fans, ALL of them. I guess you'd call it taking care of business. It might not be cool, but it's not surprising either.

Just the same, I personally have no use for Chesney's music or image, and whether he is associated with our fanbase or not is of positively no interest to me one way or the other.
