I don’t always agree with your negativity but this is a spot on assessment. Once the headlines start to roll in and Charlie Crème’s “Tennessee projected out of the NCAA tournament for the first time in history” tweets start flying it’s going to get nasty in the forum of public opinion. Hell, the responses to the final score tweet from TN today showed many fans already calling for a change.

We are a fan base in the few millions. Majority don’t chime in daily to message boards.

He does nothing. I also don't like the idea of a husband and wife duo. As much as we want to say how great Dawn, Geno, Tara, Kim, etc are at coaching, they also have really good assistant coaches who can either recruit or help coach in game. We need something different.

I don't get the Tennessee might be projected out of the tournament. Right now we don't have any bad losses just no outstanding victories, which we will have chances to do that. Some of you all would like for us to have a schedule like LSU. Whom I may add have not played any ranked team. Hell not anyone in the top 100. What's the difference between them and us? They haven't lost to any weak team??? We haven't either. Our SOS smashes them. All we have to do is play like we did today and hope we have our three missing players back. Or at least Rickea. We didn't play bad today, but we didn't play great. We held VT under 60. That's a tremendous job considering it's the 9th team in the nation, while not playing 3 key players. We will be fine. If Rickea would had played I'm sure we would have won. There was no one on that team that could have stopped Rickea. Let's quit being so dramatic and let's let the season play out. Btw Holly had no offense whatsoever. Please don't compare Holly coaching to Kellie coaching. Also don't forget Kellie had a COVID season.

"Majority" of a "fan base" don't only show in in specific threads only when a team is struggling or losing and then only to insult, mock, taunt, gloat when the team loses. Majority aren't hypocrites who sing the praises of other coaches when touting their superiority over our staff yet are strangely silent when those other coaches lose games. Majority don't complain about makeup or social justice protests that are unrelated to team play.

Today, I saw a lot of improvement especially on defense against a top ten team. They never gave up and TK played well against a top post player. It is a work in progress. Not having Jackson available cost us especially on offense. We did pass up some open shots. Darby did not have a good shooting day. A lot of that was the way she was defended and her inability to make contested shots. Overall, except for losing, I am happy with the way they played. It is a work in progress.

messages board posters are just a fraction of the fan base. Schedules vary and reasoning to be on a board varies. Fans that are frustrated have the same voice as those who choose to support. Football is king but Tennessee Lady Vol basketball will always have a strong following because of what Summitt built, so as football winds down women’s basketball will get more eyes and more opinions.

Harper did that today,,,she played a top 10 team without 3 primary players
with girls who had been getting splinters, we "toe to toed" VA Tech to a 3 point game
except for a crappy opening and a 10-0 run in Q3,,,she coached her proverbial butt off!

KH was a BAD hire from the start. Unfortunately it appears it will have to bottom out and get embarrassing before the end. This is hard to watch and only getting worse.
