Yea they looked awful when they closed to 2points behind.. started turning it over, kept throwing dumb passes, cannot inbounds the ball… no screens on inbounds plays.

But the kicker is awful defense and awful
Rebounding… this team lacks heart and desire…

No Pat team ever played so bad on defense and rebounded with less effort… ever

I love Kelly Harper but this product is garbage compared To days of yore… maybe Kelly runs a better offense, but no defense, rebounding, and fight will get you beat everytime vs good teams in March…

I don't keep up with the lady vols as much, but what's the lineup/team look like for next season? I remember Suarez being a pretty good player, hope she comes back on fire next season.

It’s way easier to win in the women’s tournament. Far less parity. You will never see a 15 seed making the E8 in the women’s tournament.

Yeh, today was a tough day for the Lady Vols. But, there are many positive signs to be taken from her tenure. This team does play defense and rebound. And they are more effective than they were in the final Pat years and all of the Holly years. They played a number one team close until the waning minutes. When is the last time they were able to hang around defensively like that? The post Parker years the LVs were getting spanked against number one seeds. They would get smoked time and again on drives to the hoop with awful to no help defense.

I actually think she overachieved this year. There are a whole lot of deficiencies on this team, yet she was able to come up with a plan that got them to the final 16. It’s very hard to create an offensive plan when multiple players end up with season ending injuries. She did the best she could with limited offensive assets. Next year when she has a lot of this playoff team plus 5 (Horston, Jackson, Pissott, Powell and Suarez) I think there will be a much higher ceiling. If she gets that team close to their maximum potential like she did this team it’ll be a very exciting season.

I mean that’s easy to say lmao. It’s not like the mens side had ever seen that before this season….
