If I’m not mistaken, Peyton made the Gundy thing happen. But, I may be wrong.

Even though it was out of desperation, I'm glad we made that kind of offer. Unfortunately too little too late. He should have done it from the get go

I'm actually proud of and encouraged by Currie for going hard after Gundy. It's one thing to screw up and never learn. But that was a legit pursuit and they offered him a ton of money.

What more do we want?

So for me - my hat's off to 'em and hope they have a lot of success trying to grab the next guy.

Big picture..... you aren't getting it.

Want? How about actually contacting coaches during his fake coaching search instead of taking what Poppa Jim told him to take. Other AD’s were doing their jobs....see UF, Miss St, and ATM by week’s end.

Peyton was campaigning to support the Schiano hire too.

What actually made this happen was the HUGE raise that Gundy and his staff just got for leveraging us against OSU.

Don't kid yourself, we went after Gundy because of Peyton and Fulmer. Currie's sitting there like "who's Mike Gundy"?

According to John Adams of the USA Today network he stated, "Currie reportedly headed up a small search team, which includes former UT quarterback Peyton Manning. If Currie had employed a search firm, it would have done the research that Currie didn’t."

So if Peyton is part of the team then how is he void of any guilt in approving Schiano?

John Adams is a dolt. Think about it, you don't go after Schiano and then turn around and go after Gundy. Peyton and others didn't get involved until Currie blew up the internet along with his career.

I'd like to take this opportunity to applaud the guy at Moe's for making burritos, congratulate the light bulbs for illuminating and special recognition to my dog for barking at the UPS guy for every da*m Saturday morning 7am delivery.

In other words, thanks for doing your job.

Why did it take Currie a few tries to do the same?

Internet keyboard warriors. It's easy til you gotta put on the suit and tie and go get it done.

Half y'all couldn't do jack chit if you were in Currie's shoes and why you're sitting on your keyboard crying all night long while you're children are off somewhere wondering why dad isn't giving them any attention.

Talk is cheap on the internet.

Peyton Manning has been part of this process all along and there are excellent reasons to believe he put his stamp of approval on Schiano so if you're going to reject Currie you better get to rejecting Peyton Manning as well.

So you're going to sit there and say without any hesitation that John Adams is a liar and that Peyton Manning had absolutely NO input on Schiano?

You gonna roll with that?

My dog barks at the UPS guy too. Probably the same inconsiderate intruder!
