Sorry for the enthusiasm, but my boy won on a ROAD COURSE! Such a sweet race. I thought for sure Tony was saving his stuff til the end, but he just didn't have anything for him. Awesome for Kasey to give him so much credit for driving clean. That's one reason I respect Tony so much. He races guys the way he wants to be raced and if someone steps out of line, he isn't afraid to tell 'em.

Go #9! Hope this helps him mount a move into the chase.

Congrats to you Kasey.

Like you said I was thinking Tony was saving his brakes for the end and was going to out brake him on a restart. But Kasey was the man a restarts all day.

his Budweiser he was drinking is almost bigger than he is.

Great job by Kasey. I'm a smoke fan and wanted him to get by him at the end but Kasey drove a perfect race those last 11 laps or so. Tony could close a little but Khane never slipped.

I'm a big Kasey Kahne fan also. Very happy about the win at Sonoma, he's been fast since Darlington. Really hoping the rumors are true about him switching to Toyota.

How'd you guess. It goes back to the days of off-road racing. Ivan Stewart was bigger than life to me back in the 80's, and it's just grown from there.

Petty is shooting down the rumors untill he can settlw with Dodge and then it will all come out. If Dodge finds out he is switching they won't give him a dime.

Something about that situation isn't right. You know a couple a weeks ago, Penske reported that he was getting his money from Dodge, and Petty said they haven't received anymore. I just wonder if Dodge is forcing Petty's hand to make a switch in order to break their contract or agreement, or whatever. If they are, it's dirty.
