Beware the natty or bust mentality. Karen has the program in a position that would be the envy of all but two or three in the country. Oh my God please don’t remind me of that Super regional. A group of us were at that regional in person and I still remember having to deal with 4 1/2 hours of that miserable ass heat that day in game 2 only to see Kristen White slap hit for a walk off in a 14 inning loss to damn Alabama. I swear that was the longest softball game I ever attended, the concessions ran outta damn water bottles at one point

The Seniors on that team choked. Milloy, West, GK and Puni all sucked the air out of the stadium at the plate that season (after all three having disappointing seasons) and Gotshall gave up a grand slam in game 3.

Can’t get a run in game 2 was on everyone not named Pickens, including Karen. Only gripe about Game 3 was the start, it should have been delayed based on the weather coming in. Downpour, thunder, lighting 10-15 mins after the game started.
