I hope he is a VFL and this is his dream school but he doesn't seem to be to familar with UT. I think we can lock him down when he visits but we gotta win. Most of this class is going to depend on wins. IMO.
I think we breakout this year. The talent is there and I really believe we upgraded most all of the coaching positions(I'm not confident in Chaney as a play caller). Say what you will about Dooley a HC is only as good as his assistants.
GONNA SHOCK THE WORLD!

I will try to post our game film link tomorrow. When you see our game against him, you will wonder how in the world he is going to be in the SEC! He was missing open field tackles all night and didn't do nothing to be in shock of.

Here is the link. when you copy it scroll down just a bit and you will see West Mesquite. Click on the PHS vs. West and you should be able to watch our game. He is the safety with the pink spat on. Let me know if it works for yall.

Maybe with his coach being a ex vol player, he wouldn't do that

That's what I'm thinking. No worries here. Santos is a unique scum bag, in that he had a hidden agenda, and other factors weighing on his choice. With this guy, we will have a bigtime supporter until the end. Not worried about him switching.

I mean, how dare you be positive in a commitment thread? This is obviously bad news. I might even go so far as to say:

Hahaha. Been a long time since I have seen that.

Wow!!! This kid looks like he could be an EB #2.

He really is almost that good. He can do everything. He is explosive with the ball in his hands. Great instincts, has a nose for the ball. Super athletic, with the physical, and mental understanding to be a dominant college athlete. One of the better pickups by Dooley. Imagine Randolph, miles, and McNeil patrolling our back field

He made this comment

" it looked like offers were slowing down so it was time for me a few weeks ago to really start focusing on the schools who had offered me that I was interested in."

Considering his list of offers, there really wasn't that many schools left to offer him :)

Miles' coach said something certain Vols fans should learn to have the same respect for. He said he's happy the kid committed to Tennessee but if he'd not, that'd be fine. BECAUSE it's those kids' decision, not his. We're never going to reel in every commit. Some will bolt for any number of reasons. Didn't CDD have 1-2 commits last year that he let go when someone else became available? Iman or something? CDD had a hidden agenda, so does Saban and a lot coaches when it comes to recruits. If colleges can treat players this way, well, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

These kids have to make a decision not only on just playing but where is their best chance to enter the pro ranks when done playing. They're young and will swerve and sway even after getting on campus (Arnett), it happens at any school (USC, OK, NEB, ARK etc). So when you turn an eye of disdain and even hate at players who opted to go elsewhere, it darn sure makes them look like they made the right decision. Who wants to play for haters?

Fans like you are one of the reasons we lost Santos and Ortha (?). All that whining and talk about Dooley being fired, unfit to coach, gave opposing coaches fodder for swaying these players away from us. And you call Santos a scumbag? Very funny.

I hated losing those kids too, was mad to be frank but still hoped they did well wherever they went. I also hoped we played their team and beat the snot out of them and had a chance to bulldozer the kid so he'd see sparky little lights when he struggled back to his feet wishing he had stayed with Tennessee. But I'd not call them scumbag or hate on them. Their decision is THEIRS, not yours or mine. Just as it is with coaches who pull offers cause they think they have a shot at someone else who's better and release players to make room for new incoming players and so on. Sometimes I wonder what the h3ll is wrong with some Vols fans.

You sound really, really butthurt.

And you sound like you have no sense of humor. BTW, why on earth does a absolute, card-carrying homer like yourself have "negateer" as your username?

I'm a Tennesse fan, goobernut. I rejoice when things go well, and get pissed off when things go bad.

The absolute opposite of you.
