1. Eagles are in desperate need of a CB. They used the senior bowl last year to find their franchise QB. I believe they'll use the senior bowl this year to find their CB. Cam Sutton was unanimously viewed as one of the best performers at the senior at any position and potentially the most standout player in the secondary. There will be a run on CBs in the first round. I believe Sutton will be one of them.
Sutton may have been the best CB at the Senior Bowl. The problem is that the best CBs in this year's draft are all underclassmen. He's not coming off the board in the 1st round. He's sure as hell not coming off the board in the top half of the 1st round.
2. Baltimore needs a RB. Ozzie Newsome loves SEC players and regularly picks guys in the first round most don't expect. Alvin is already getting late first round buzz. I think he goes earlier than that. There will be a run on RBs early in the draft. I think Fournette, McCaffrey, and Cook all go in the first 15 picks. That will leave Kamara on the board as the highest rated RB. Ozzie is smart. He'll snatch up Alvin before someone else does.
Newsome is way too good at his job to take Kamara at #16. If he's desperate for an RB, and he wants Kamara, he's trading down in the first, or up in the second. Like Sutton, Kamara is not getting taken in the top half of the 1st round.
3. Malone can go in round 3 if he kills it at the combine. I believe he has sub-4.4 speed. If he runs a 4.35, I could see someone in the 3rd round taking him based on his measurables and potential. There aren't many 6'3" receivers out there running 4.3. If Malone runs a 4.3 he will skyrocket up the draft boards.
You said the same thing about Marquez North.
