5'-10" 214 lbs
15 reps on the bench
39 1/2" vertical jump
10'-11" broad jump

Out-jumped all the top tier running backs.

Getting noticed already, 40 yr dash coming up...

Kid is a beast.

I feel like we should have an official combine thread. I bet Kamara did well in his interviews. He's a leader.

Bama was stupid for not giving Kamara a chance to show off his skills. I wish he was utilized a bit more in Butch's offense cause he's a threat to take it to the end zone when he's got space. Hope he succeeds in the NFL which I think he will.

Kamara is killing it, man what i would give for one more year of him on the Hill, but im just being selfish, clearly he was ready to get paid. Side note, any one else think fournette might be on an eddie lacy trajectory with his heavy weigh in and lack of explosiveness so far? 240 is a load and i wonder if he can keep that under control for his career.

Wouldn't touch him if I was an NFL team. Seems soft.

Because Bama has had issues at the running back position...

If he succeeded under Butch, surely to god he could have succeeded under Saban. It's not like Tennessee had any bad RBs. Our offensive line has been the main problem.

I'm watching NFL network and keeping track on NFL.com but I'm not seeing any RB results. Anyone know where these results are posting?

I would take cook and Kamara over fournette, no question.

Id take kamara over either. Not even being a homer, low mileage and is the prototypical rb of todays nfl. If he gets on a team with a creative OC plan and a good line watch out. I think given that scenario he could be a priest holmes type. Chiefs need to gun for him hard!

I would say Cook is more the prototype, tbh

They typically like the bigger power backs though, he'd have been used like Drake was. Passing back in the screen game, put him in the slot, punt and kick returns. Basically what we did with him but probably even less carries between the tackles. Imagine if he'd have been on the field at oregon though, hed have ran wild in that offense.

IMO...perfect fit for the Vikings. Not a Vikings fan, but he would fit their system perfectly.

Jalen Hurd was a bad RB. Before arguing with this, consider the fact that he's no longer an RB.

I think Kamara would have been great for Bama. But it's not like Bama wound up missing out on production.

At Bama, Kamara sat behind Yeldon, Drake, and Henry. At UT, he sat behind Hurd. One of these things is not like the other.

He was a distraction at Bama

How so? Kamara is heavier than him by 4 pounds, just as good of a receiver and has shown better athletic measurables so far today. Not trying to argue just curious as to your logic on that.

Hurd is supposedly switching because of concussions.

The RB's are up after the OL. Every once in a while they will throw up some stats, but the real stuff starts soon. RBs have only done the broad jump and vertical jump. Kamara had the best numbers in both. Fournette...not so much.

I agree completely with the Hurd sentiment. All of the Hurd apologists that say he had a bad line or this or that are crazy. Kelly and Kamara and even Dobbs had much better YPC than him with the same line. He has bad feet , average hips and terrible vision. The TE jokes arent so funny anymore because thats his best shot at the NFL. Put on about 20 pounds and use his speed and hands to be a huge mismatch for nfl safeties and Linebackers. I think hes a Zach Ertz type who could have a lot of success there.
