Kamara Best RB in SEC

What a jewel.

Wish he'd stay another year.

I like AK, liked him when he was at Bama but he's not the best RB in the SEC and no he won't be a 1st round pick, maybe a 4th or 5th round pick. The NFL is a passing game, second level WRs will go the the draft before a Rb does unless there is a Peterson type RB, which AK isn't. He will probably go this year though. He said coming out of HS he was a 3 and out player, his plan didn't work out because of his leaving Bama.

It is a passing league.

And Kamara is the best reciever as a RB in college.

He is a strong 2nd rounder.

I thought Guice was the second best all-around back in the nation before the year started behind McCaffrey. This season has only reinforced what I though preseason, not as good as Fournette between the tackles but all-around probably best in the country or close to it.

If I were starting a college team I would still pick McCaffrey 1, and Guice 2. Fournette is a freak but not the best all-around back imo.

Yup, just like my one pre-season. Also, I will remind you I said "all-around" back. I would say he has consistently outplayed Fournette, but they are different type backs... the offense generally plays better when he is in there but I think that is more an opinion. Stat wise its not really even close on a per touch basis, but stats can lie.

Guice
2015 ATT 51 YD 436 AVG 8.5 TD 3 REC 5 YD 20
2016 ATT 101 YD 881 AVG 8.7 TD 9 REC 5 YD 66

Fournette
2015 ATT 300 YD 1953 AVG 6.5 TD 22 REC 15 YD 146
2016 ATT 117 YD 803 AVG 6.9 TD 8 REC 19 YD 253

Fournette has been hurt a good portion of the season but the stats are not really lying especially if you watch the tape. Of course, Fournette might be the best big man I have seen run but as an all-around back I would probably still pick Guice.

Guice has been pretty much the starter through LSU's mini-turnaround. I would compare him to a big Kevin Faulk, just an outstanding all around player. He is the fastest to 1,000 yards in LSU history by quite a margin... 23 less carries.... Fournette is not even in the top 5. Guice did it in 113 attempts.

I would expect his ypa to go down next year but even with the same OL like last night... Guice is quite a bit more effective imo.

Guice 252 yard on 21 attempts and 2 Tds
Fournette 98 yards on 17 attempts and 2 Tds

<Blue font> I dunno Chubb got his 3rd 100+ yard game yesterday for the season, seems to me his greatness overwhelms most all other SEC RBs.

Going into Gia year I said that I bought Hurd was the better overall back and that he deserved more carries.

I'm eating crow now. Kamara is obviously better in this system. No telling what his stats would look like if he'd been the primary back in this system.

We probably should've just let Hurd walk at the end of last season and rolled with kamara.

I've seen both play quite a bit and Guice is very good, certainly one of the more talented RBs in the SEC.....I'll leave it at that.

You're a much better man than D4H Darth, that's for sure. He's now not saying a word about Hurd and acting like he thought AK was a first rounder all along, when nothing could be further from the truth.
