Hopefully Kaela will have a better final two years to her career than her first two where she seemed totally disengaged at GT.

Dawn has a history of losing players with big egos, this might be great for them, or it might be a huge mistake. Wilson will have 2 years under her belt, be the star anointed and Coates will be a senior when Davis circus hits the court, there is still just one ball in games. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, if Davis can handle a tough coach, if her Momma can shut the you know what up, and stay out of the media. I will say what I said about her maybe coming here; the coach that takes her has an entire year to see if she will fit in or be a problem. This just might not be a dream situation for Dawn, or their recruiting if it blows up. She hasn't got a track record of buying into team basketball, in like, well...forever! Two high schools, quit playing half way through senior year, or possibly was asked to, then the 2 strange years production wise with GA Tech, and another change. I would be really surprised if she plays 2 more years in college. I think one more and wnba time.

I doubt Tennessee goes after Brown, I think they are going very hard after Slocum. You never know with recruiting though. With SC adding Davis, I think that hurt their chances with Slocum. Just my opinion.

SC and Kentucky track transfers like a Hawk. She has to sit a year Holly needs to recruit some post players. Lexie Brown may go there next.

I'm actually a tiny bit surprised that she went to SC given that Kelsey Bone is her God-sister.

That being said, when it came out that she wanted to go to a program that can challenge for a NC, knowing her recruiting history with UT, knowing she would not be going to a college that isn't at least somewhat close to Kendra, and knowing that SC will have zero legitimate guards once Mitchell/Roy/Dozier graduate next year ... it seemed like it couldn't be anywhere but SC if Dawn agreed to take her or Bone didn't talk her out of it.

Actually three. Greater Atlanta Christian her freshman year, Norcross her sophomore year, Buford her junior year, and her senior year until she quit.

And yes she quit Buford well into her senior year because she and her parents didn't like the coach. Despite the cover-up that they manufactured by saying it had something to do with her health -- which was only done to ensure she would be a McDonald's AA, since quitting your team automatically disqualifies you from the team. Interesting how that same health problem has amazingly never seemed to affect her ability to play in college or the high school AA games.

It appears that perhaps she has a personal agenda with DeShields. Presumably The South Carolina roster offers her the surest bunker.

OH NOOOZ!!! Davis to South Carolina means they will win the SEC for the next, I don't know, 20 years, maybe 30 years, maybe for all eternity. We are DOOMED, DOOMED, DOOMED.

Lol....I think in the context of what's playing out here is that there might be a, the "next Dawn Staley" as a coach and less a "next Geno or Pat".....That is what is happening on the surface. I know Dawn has a long way to go....but she is on her way.....that might be scary for the future....Dawn is driven and won't settle for less than that....
