I've been focusing on him the whole game. He seemed to have quit about halfway through the second quarter. He just stands up at the snap and catches blocks 2-3 yards down field on every play. It's like he's on skates out there. No penetration, no tying up blockers at the LOS, just getting pushed back on every play.

That having been said, they've had him and Vickers in there for every single play the last 4-5 drives. Why they aren't rotating DT's is a big coaching failure as well.

They need to get him out of there. He seems to have quit about halfway through the 2nd quarter. The guy just stands up at the snap, catches the blocker and moves backwards like he's playing on skates. Why they aren't rotating DT's against this offense is crazy.

Vickers hurt because Butch refuses to play back ups. I'd bet Vickers and Kmac took 90% of snaps to this point.

KMac is a total waste of a scholarship. He's a wuss that gets pushed around like a big tub of goo!

When you line up 2 yards off the LOS every play no wonder you can't get any penetration and end up blown off the ball.

You don't play 90% of the snaps as a DT in a game like this with multiple overtimes and become a bust. Dontavious Blair who couldn't get on the field was a bust. KMac may be an underperformer but bust he is not some of you need to get real.

McKenzie is out of shape and gets blown off the ball on most plays. Waste of a scholarship at this point. Either earn your keep or get outta the way.

now id call the defense as a whole, a bust.

His hype coming out of HS + his production so far= huge bust. Dude needs to make way for someone else. He is slow, cannot get penetration or stop the run. He is a huge bust at this point.

Well i could care less how he performs against cut and chop blocks and flexbone offenses. Hes damn good otherwise.

I think the DL played to not get injured tonite.

Since we somehow won, and no acls blown out.

It was brilliant! Said it earlier but playing out of conference flexbone triple option offense, the only take away is the win. Nothing else to ponder or second guess. If your Defense survives without injury well thats best case scenario.

I was hoping we would dust off chavis' old prowler defense, with zero down lineman, just to be safe.

Let GT celebrate their battered qb, gaudy rushing stats and big LOSS.

Were 1-0. And sustained no defensive injuries. WIN-WIN
