Having seen anything on him, I kept waiting on hearing his name during the game, was looking forward to seeing him play, but apparently didn't. Anyone know why?

I suddenly realized in the 3rd quarter that his name hadn't been mentioned all night. A couple of plays later I saw his #10 jersey on the field. I guess he played.

I thought he played well. Not hearing your name called on defense is good in many respects. But I looked up #10 during the game because I thought he was playing well. Realized it was him, I didn’t know his number.

I was looking forward to seeing him as well. Thought he would be have an impact but don't remember him making any plays. Banks on the other hand had a really good game. Played much more instinctive, took really good angles. Very encouraging for Banks

The reason that he didn't have an impact was because the offense didn't run plays that required his attention. I mean its not like the defense played bad, I think you will find that when the ball was being moved he was not in the game. If the defense gave up plays and yards and he was nowhere to be found then yes, call attention to it. but if the defensive line controlled the line of scrimmage and the throws were to the outside and we didn't blitz, what did you expect the guy to do?

the problem is and has always been that this fanbase expects anyone to don the orange to win the Heisman/Outland/Nagurski/BCS/Playoff trophy every single game

Doesn't matter if you're name is Manning or Wilks, its the expectation

He played in first quarter and defense made good calls. They but Beasly in for second quarter and others as well and they struggled. He played few snaps in third and they were good again.

DL dominated as expected and secondary played well backers didn’t have many opportunities I did see 33 around the ball a fair amount of times tho.

I think people were just surprised he's supposed to get lots of tackles and got zero. Maybe they ran no plays towards him and that's a great reason. I was looking for his name to be called and when I didn't, I started trying to find out when he got hurt or suspended. I'm sure he'll do fine.

he played. At times, I thought he looked lost which I interpret he is not up to snuff on his responsibilities. He played a lot less in the 2nd half. I imagine it is just too soon for him to have things down pat. My guess from watching.

He played much of the game but didn't make a tackle. I thought Banks looked good. Mohan and Harrison actually led the LB's in tackles with 4 each.
