Will he watch last years game against Oregon when he was with Boise St and insert some of those defenses to help slow them down.:)

No, he's not going to use any of his knowledge to help us win the game. I think he's going to just wing-it and see what happens.

no he'll probably do everything he can to prepare for this game as poorly as possible.

Probably won't prepare at all...I laughed out loud on reading your response!

Wilcox strikes me as the kind of guy who will turn over every rock to prepare. We may lose the game, but it won't be because he hasn't prepared.

The flip side of this question is does Oregon have some advantage having faced his defense twice before?

Q F T

10 char.

Justin seems like the kind of guy who likes reverse phycology. He knows Oregon knows he is going to watch that game. Therefore he will try to do the exact opposite of what he did that game.

Wilcox beat Oregon at boise using a lot of walk ons and non rated players.
If you think he isn't chomping to see what he can do with real talent, you're living in a dream world.
Wilcox will be ready. The kids will be too!

I hope we can keep Wilcox at Tennessee long enough for him to custom build his defense.

Those players had already been in his system for 3 or 4 years. Tennessee may have more raw talent than those Boise teams, but not the depth or experience.

Last year they played on the smurf turf and won. The year before they played at Oregon and won. :eek:k: I trust he has be preparing for them.

Not to minimize Boise State's defense last year against Oregon, but the time of possession had a lot to do with the final score of that game. I think Boise State's offense was their best defense.

OU - 17:28 with 6 First Downs
BSU - 42:32 with 22 First Downs

Final Score
OU - 8
BSU - 19
