At least it isn't Holly Rowe rummaging around through the snack bar and raiding vending machines.

Seriously?

That list speaks of how poor WAC defenses are.

Is there any part of UT football, the current coaching staff, the past staff, this signing class, anything, anything at all that you are not contrary to? Always just blah, blah. The glass isn't always half empty. Contrary to what you might think. I would hate to be so miserable.

When you are trying to be the First to break a story and your link to the official source says it does not exist... it just makes you look foolish. Nice try. I hope it is true by the way.

Hey Vols, I just wanted to comment and say you're picking up a very smart and capable DC in Wilcox. I know yall are pretty jaded with all the BS Lame Kiffen has put you through, but it's probably better he's gone sooner rather than later... I think you'll begin to like Wilcox once he shows what he can do with actual talent.

Go Ducks!

When the link first went up it had a photo of Wilcox and the title of Tenn DC.

I would really like to know why they didn't go ahead and hire Chuck Smith.

Reports are that Wilcox was interviewed on Monday, hired on Tuesday.

So the report that the DC needed to ok him, and we didn't have one yet, were most likely true.

I keep hearing the words "intensity" and "passion" in reference to Wilcox. IMO, that is usually a good sign.

The game was in 2005 and thus is is not relevant because he was not the DC.

You koolaid drinkers need to take a deep breath and work on reading comprehension. I replied to a comment about the Boise St program. It had nothing to do with who their HC or DC was at the time. Boise St plays a weak schedule and the FACT is the last time Boise St played an SEC school they got blown the hell out and their conference champion Hawaii from a couple years back went to the Sugar Bowl and got destroyed by the SEC champion. Now go back to your koolaid.

They play a weak schedule with lower caliber players.

If his success as a DC will translate is a huge question mark right now.

But to be convinced just because of the SUCCESS he's had would kinda fly in the face of your disappointment in the CDD hire because of the LACK of SUCCESS he's had.

All in all, even if it is a weaker conference, I would rather have the DC of the BEST defense in the league than the WORST or even middle.
