Justin Timberlake is on ESPN talking about the Vols

You're somewhat correct. I read on Wikipedia that Justin is from Shelby Forest, an unincorporated community north of Memphis.

I believe Lil Wyte is also from that particular area.

When you say someone is from 'Memphis' you'd be referring to the Metropolitan Area. Jesus H Christ man. I've lived the vast majority of my life in Germantown and Collierville, TN but I say I am from Memphis.

Must be different there than it is here. I know that here, if you're from Farragut, you don't say you're from Knoxville.

 I know plenty of people from Farragut who consider themselves Knoxvillians. Especially when referring to where they grew up to people who don't know the area well.

I've never met anyone from Farragut, who said they were from Knoxville.

That's just me though.

anyone know if Johnny Knoxville or Quentin Tarentino are Vols fans?

I doubt Tarantino is a Vol fan, considering he was only born here. He was raised somewhere else.

Johnny Knoxville, however, in one Jackass episode, decides in a stunt, that he's going to return kicks against the USC football team. He wore a Tennessee uniform, using an old Heath Shuler jersey.

Tarantino does drop a knoxville reference in all his movies, though. He dropped two in pulp fiction.

I think it depends on where you are. If I am traveling in the state, I usually tell people I am from Knoxville. If out of state, I just say TN. Outside the country, I just say America, becuase most people foreigners do not have a clue where TN is.

Most foreigners, yes.

I was on an IM with some girl from Hungary. I said I was from America, Tennessee specifically.

She responded, "Oh, is that the place where the good whiskey comes from?" I laughed. It was funny.

In Jackass 2 he wears a UT shirt while in India.

haha i just watched the video and he was wearing a full UT uniform, helmet pants and all, it was pretty tight.

Where do you get that? I went to Farragut and I consider myself from Knoxville, as do my Farragut buddies.

Because, any person I've ever asked where they're from here always is specific about things. Like, "Yea, I'm from Seymour", or "Yea, I'm from Farragut". That's what I usually get.

Do I say, specifically, I'm from South Knoxville? Like most, I guess it depends where I'm at. If in Knoxville, or East Tennessee, I say I'm from South Knoxville. If going into the SE, I just say I'm from Knoxville.
