I'm here come hell or high water and this fanbase has been thru both quite a bit in recent years.

It seems this year it's the unknown of why this team looks this way? Some think it's the players and others think its the staff. Some think the team has played down to competition and some think the staff has played it close to vest so far and will unleash hell next Saturday. Honestly, I have no clue what the prob is? Maybe all of the above?

Playing down, poor game plans, sloppy play, injuries, when this team should be ripe for dishing out azz whoopin's. That part is very troubling to say the least but.....

Everybody in the country will be putting this team down. The talking heads, writers, rival fanbases, "overhyped again" top 10 team that's really lucky to be a top 50 team. Yada yada. If we as UT fans don't have this teams back then nobody will. Wether the staff is a joke or the players got swelled heads or if it's something else it still doesn't matter. This team NEEDS our support to make it thru this season in good and bad.

Let's sack up and show our support and get thru this season and see how it shakes out and then go from there.

This is true. Not sure what is happening. It appears some sort of parity is being achieved. Smaller schools without the tradition, facilities, budgets and *stars* are bringing it this year.

It's like we are witnessing the end of the cupcake team era. Interesting at least to see at least.

Spoiled? We are UT not some lower tier sec program. We would never be in this situation had ut had the nut to hire the right coach for the job. We may remember where we were a year ago, BUT I remember where UT was every year before that. This program competed year in and year out for NCs. UT will recruit itself based on its tradition, Dooley had decent recruiting classes. So far butch hasn't impressed me much. Next time Martin takes to Twitter how bout he shuts the F*** up and make a play on 4th and long. Maybe butch can beat a ranked opponent or a a down uf team with a winning record.
Martin should be thanking the worst years in ut history. He wouldn't sniff the line up with the teams of the past. Practice squad.

Where UT used to be was winning 10+ games a year and an NFL pipeline. There are no participation trophies and the expectation bar is NOT established by the lowest point in the 120+ year history of UT football. Shut your dam mouth and earn your scholly.

Yep, I tend to lean towards the sunshine pumper side but our "winning streak" is not much to rest upon except the bowl win.

I have less confidence in bUTch than ever, now. If you can't get the team ready for so-so teams the only way they'll beat good teams is if they do it despite the coaches.

Gonna wait till end of the season but CBJ looks stuck in mediocrity.

Why college players are allowed to use Twitter still, baffles me.

He is somewhat right and I am happy that we are 3-0, but that doesn't mean **** until we see what happens this weekend.

Nothing good comes from fan player interaction. Lots of dumb fans out there. Best to hold your tongue and not worry about outside noise

It's tough but he and the other players need to ignore all the ignorant fans who couldn't even play hs ball - let alone SEC football. 99.9% of the folks on here would be homeless and starving if they had to make a living coaching...they are great in their own minds but that's a pretty small venue...

No. You're wrong. It's the fans. Dumb people who don't realize how dumb they are is a pet peeve of mine. It's like watching someone on the news being interviewed about a crime or wreck or some incident and they use "big" words to sound smart and misuse them.

It's coached. But some players have an instinct to know when the ball is coming and some don't. It takes time. You see it every Sunday in the NFL too.
If a DB bites on a fake out by the WR and looks back he can get burned big time.

Listen here Outlaw, what bugs me is that we have current and former players that say all the negativity is bad for the team. Even with that said we have LVFs(Loyal Vol Fans) still bringing the negativity. What's up with that?

UGA struggled with Nichols St., no one says a thing. Tennessee struggles with Appalachian St., we're the worst football team in the country. Ironic huh.
