Well I am glad it wasn't part of a crime. If the kid needs to go somewhere else, then good luck on the rest of your college career. If you come back to the Vols, then welcome back.

Was this guy going to start at corner? I know the guy was highly thought of but he hasn't played one down yet.

This has the distinct feel of a challenge to authority, and the coach having to tamp it down fast and hard. Maybe Martin thought he'd be the White Knight for Joc Bruce. Maybe he just got tired of the discipline required in this program.

Anyway, that's what it's sounding like, without any more information than we have. Thanks for that much, Bob Mueller.

Never a dull moment with UT football. Remember the old days when the only news we would get during the summer is when Majors then Fulmer would travel across the state playing golf, shaking hands, kissing babies and what not.
