He just took a crap and figured all the guys stalking him on twitter would like to know he was done

Thats all

This!

You kids need to get a life, CDD is a man that can turn this team around. You really don't understand how much it means to be young with very little playing time at the college level no matter who the other team is.
Yes, some players have played for 2 years now with others just finishing their 1st. That is just getting warmed up at this level.
CDD or any of the other coachs CAN'T hold the players hands on the field and make sure they make every correct move.
I and every VOL fan wants to win NOW, but as deep in the hole as we are in player developement, IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN until 2013 when we take the SEC EAST and hopefully become the SEC CHAMPS.

give us 1/2 ounce of proof that Dooley can get it done. Not asking for much just something anything that shows we are headed in the right direction. Imo Dooley thinks his **** don't stink and the players are sick of his attitude.

I hate to admit it, but this is what I see as well. In his postgame presser CDD says we are not a good team, it was probably a good thing to lose to knock us down a notch ( after a Vandy win? Seriously?) to show how much work needs to be done. Players arent going to sacrifice much for someone who is unwilling to accept any responsibility. I was taught that the captain was the last person in the lifeboat. Dooley, from my observations, seems to think the captain should be first.

Why would he wanna come back. So Dooley can try to force this team to be a run first team, when its clear to the world we should be pass first. So Dooley can refuse to run short quick passing plays and instead basically say that they don;t need those cause they will jut run in those situations. So Dooley can continue to call horrible games and when we get murdered he takes no responsibility and instead throws the players under the bus.
This team WON'T be any better next year. We weren't even close to being competitive in the games against the top teams and we struggled to be competitive with the worst of the SEC. At the end of last season everyone was saying being 6-7 was ok because we had plenty of talent coming back and 2011 we would have a winning season. Instead of progressing, we have REGRESSED!!! Our team consistently gotten worse every game. Dooley doesn't coach to win, he coaches to try and keep the score close and keep from getting blown out.
When I heard him tell the lady before the game that he told his players that the streak didn't matter and he didn't like to talk about it with them because it would just add more pressure I just had a horrible feeling about today. To me, and probably the players that doesn't say hey I'm just trying to take some pressure off, it says I'm not confident in my abilities to coach you to a win or confident that you guys could go out and win this game. Dooley sucks the motivation and confidence out of this team with all the crap I've heard him say he told the players. During the Bama game he told the reporter, as he was going in at halftime, that he told the players he didnt expect a win so he was pleased with the score.
Hunter is gone and after blaming the players yet again, so are a handful of the current roster and some of the better recruits. Why would they wanna stick around and get blamed for his poor coaching and why would good recruits wanna come and get coached down and ensure they never get any attention unless itsthe coach blaming them for the loss.

I doubt the good players will go because they don't want to sit out a year, but I wouldn't blame them if they did. We have systemic issues that are going to take a lot more time than we'd like to fix.

Nice to see a logical post....2013 is the big year for the Vols. 2012 will get 7 wins (improvement).

I don't understand. What is tweeting. Why would any team member be tweeting while leaving the field of play. Did he have his phone with him. Was he supporting his teammates? Please explain!

"I'm done" could mean he just finished taking a dump or eating a pizza or mowing the lawn or cleaning out his car...

And if he is done playing football, life will go on and football will still be played at Neyland on Saturdays in the fall. If he chooses not to play then he chooses not to play.

Many on here are done, but we'll be back next season with hopes of a better season. This may hold true for Justin.

I don't claim to know what it means, but I am tired of selfish players. No one player makes a team. If he doesn't want to be here, get the hell out. I want players who take pride in putting on the orange jersey. I would rather win or lose with players like that
