Our class would have been Ambles, Milton, Meline, Hunter, and Prater or Rogers if Kiffin had stayed.

I've seen a few people claim that Rogers would've came with Kiffin here, but no proof whatsoever. The only thing I have to go on is Da'Rick himself saying he wouldn't have came if Kiffin was still coaching here.

Hunter was coming here regardless. Hubbs has confirmed it. The track coach at UT did all of the recruiting there. As far as Prater, Rogers. Prater was visiting Tennessee the weekend of the 15th and had all but decommitted after CPC left. If the staff struck out with Prater, they would've gone ahead with the package deal to Nance and Rogers.

I dont see Teague or Meline being moved to D. Milton is built like a WR and will stay at WR. Dooley seems to like big TE's like 250+, look at the TE's we are recruiting they are all 235-250+, so I just dont see that either.

Then why is he actively recruiting a guy that's 6'4" 200lbs to play TE?

Milton has the frame to add 25 to 35lbs...which would make him 6'6" 235-245lbs...if he keeps his speed and athleticism he'd be a nightmare for opposing D's if he's lined up at TE

If we land a player like Arnett this year then we'd have D. Rogers, Hunter, Arnett, Z. Rogers, Teague, Milton and Meline...quite the logjam at WR...

Moving Teague/Meline might be a stretch if we only land 1 stud WR this year so I'll give you that....but Milton to TE is a real possibility IMO

Alvin Harper would be a much better comparison to Hunter(both high jumpers), but why pit one against the other hunter>rogers. Thats idiotic, just be thankful for Dooley,because if dicweed was still here neither of those recievers would be!!! V,B

I like Justin Hunter over Rogers right now. I remember Rogers having a really poor showing at one of the all-american games. Hunter is a freak athlete. Look at some of his track and basketball highlights on youtube. Amazing.

To add to the current debate, had Kiffin stayed, I think we had a legit shot at Prater. Not Rogers. Ambles and Prater = ridiculous.

Hunter would have been a Vol if I had been named the new coach. He signed with UT mostly because he was sold on the track program. He's a track star who just happens to be a good football player, not the other way around.
